According to a T. Rowe Price survey, 75% of kids said they wished their parents taught them more about money and 72% said that their parents are “always worried about money.” Lack of financial literacy is a frequently discussed issue but is not covered in most schools. That leaves many young people feeling lost when it comes to the basics of money management. Give your child a head start on understanding this critical life skill early on!

In this module, we will study and understand how stock market and banks work. Students will create a financial model for themselves. They will work on creating a mock portfolio and researching 5 companies that they would like to invest in. We will watch the market fluctuations and present the results on the last day of the session. Don't' miss this opportunity to give them a head start in financial management!

Microsoft Excel is a powerful spreadsheet and data analysis tool with wide range of capabilities!

Excel has many functions to help sort and analyze data that can be presented to help draw meaningful insights. Our students will learn various formatting techniques, use of formulae, using charts and graphs to present data. Our junior learners will learn on how to create and format tables. Our advanced learners will work on VLOOKUP's and pivot tables.

Do you get anxious when you have to speak in front of your class?  Do you have jitters when you have to give a presentation? Communication is an important component of your personal as well as professional life. Developing public speaking skills is especially important to be successful in high school, college, and beyond. Public speaking skills can be learned and mastered by practice. Join us to learn these important skills and build confidence!

Do you have a budding engineer in your family? Engineering is a lifelong endeavor to create solutions to the world’s toughest challenges and design innovative products to improve quality of life. In this module, students will learn about various engineering disciplines and explore their interests. Join us to find out what it means to be an engineer at work. This module will help students explore an exciting field of engineering!

Earn your leadership everyday! -Michael Jordan

Let's flex our leadership muscle! There are various aspects of leadership that require practice. Our students will work on team projects e.g. Starting a business and presenting everyone's input using PowerPoint where they will lead various segments of the project. Students will learn communicating at an all-employee meeting and how to answer questions that will be raised during the presentation.

A great first impression can work wonders!

Our students will recognize the power of first impression. We will work on a step by step guide on how to make a meeting impactful, and how to get to the next level of the hiring process for that dream internship role! We will practice defining goals, identifying fields to apply for internship, connecting with leads, answering interview questions. We will conclude this module with mock interviews. Join us for this exciting session that will set the trajectory if your career!

Presentation Skills (Word & Power Point) 5 Spots Left

Delivering an effective and engaging presentation, using the tools such as Microsoft word and Power point is a critical skill for students. In this module, our students will learn how to put together a presentation that communicates effectively. We will discuss various features that they can use to make an impact. These features when used to convey the message, will inspire and motivate their audience. Our students will present the features that they learned during this modules and will receive feedback at the end of this week-long module.
